You can now join us on Facebook!!  Once you click on the "Like" button you will be able to use it to connect with fellow Dakota Tour Members if you want to ride share, find a roommate or perhaps just find out information regarding an event venue.  This site should be a great medium for members to communicate in a positive manner.  This site is not meant to be used as a complaint site, however.  If you have issues with the tour or a specific venue, please speak to the Tour Director or the Tournament Director of the venue.

You should note that in order to qualify for the tour bonus pool you must have  played in 7 of the 9 "majors" of our tour.  The majors are the events with 3 to 4 rounds of competition.

UPDATED FOR 2011: THE DAKOTAS TOUR GROOVE POLICY.

  The Dakotas Tour policy board has  met and has decided that, for the 2011 season,  Dakotas Tour players WILL be required to use clubs conforming to the USGA's  standards of groove shape and depth. To determine if your clubs are conforming please use the USGA's website at "www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/index.asp"

Golfers don't come to the Dakotas Tour to get rich. They come to learn shots and strategies, to both forget and remember. "I'm not making any money, but I'm living a dream," says Amos Rolon, a 52-year-old from Arizona, in his seventh year in the Dakotas. Rolon sells recreational vehicles most of the year and travels in one along the tour with his girlfriend, Cindy Krueger, two Rotweilers and a 13-year-old African gray parrot called Kirby.
